// CREATIVE CODE

That's the title of my bachelor thesis, which deals with the topic of generative art. This form of design is a relatively new method in different areas. The main feature is that the output - which can be an image, sound, animation, etc. - is generated by an algorithm.

This work is splitted in three categories: time, audio visualisation and natural processes,  which includes different experimental artworks of animation, interaction and simulation.

[ aquamediale ] Re-Design

The aquamediale ® is the presentation platform for contemporary art in public space in Brandenburg and is the only one of its kind in Europe.

The drop builds a symbiosis between "aqua" and "media". The gradient takes on the colors of the previous festival and is a further part to connecting the two elements.

I used Futura as font because it’s clear, simple, contemporary and expressive. Futura is from the family of "geometric" or "constructed" sans serif linear Antiquas. It was designed in 1927 by Paul Renner and influenced the Bauhaus movement.

THE COLORCLOCK

Until today the colorclock is only a conceptual work and converts time in different colorgradients. The colors are adjusted to the typical colors of a day. For example: on highnoon when the sun reaches the highest point the color turns to yellow .

It is not intended for an exact time measurment. I made it for slowing down the life.
